I have been learning about the Old Ways since I was a small child, and I demonstrated a marked spiritual nature very early in life. I am of mixed heritage, but my spiritual focus has been with the Gods of ancient Italy and Greece. I have learned the ways of the Streghe (Italian witches) through two distinct lines. I was also a priestess of Ceres in a re-constructionist group. I have felt a calling from the Ancient Gods since I was a child, and hence I pursued classical studies at university. I attended graduate school at an ivy league university in Philadelphia and am versed in Latin. I have done extensive research in Greco-Roman religion, culture, and mythology. Despite my avid interest and devotion to the Old Ways of the Mediterranean region, I have always felt a strong connection to this land through my Cherokee heritage. I am also 1/16th Cherokee, and I feel there is a need for Old World Paganism to be adapted more suitably for our climate, flora, and fauna here in America. That is why I have devoted myself to the Order of the Evening Star. We are rooted in the ancient Greek and Roman traditions of the past, but have been able to evolve for modern needs and our current environment. I am fully dedicated to the Gods and serve their will through philanthropy and teaching. I am active in a number of non-profit organizations, a part of the teaching faculty at a local college, a rare book librarian, and the owner of a holistic health practice in Bucks County, PA. In loving service of the Gods,
